During long storage, and under pressure inside the packaging, the layers may stick together, so separating them can take a little more force. This is a normal characteristic of the material, not a product defect.\u003cbr\u003eHow to unfold the EPDM PONDLINER correctly: Before unfolding, leave the EPDM PONDLINER at room temperature (approx. 20 °C) for a few hours, especially if it has been transported in cold conditions. Cold EPDM PONDLINER is stiffer and harder to separate. Separate the layers slowly and evenly, starting from a corner or edge. Do not pull sharply. Do not use knives or other sharp tools to separate the layers.\u003cbr\u003eWhite residue after unfolding: Where the layers were in contact, a white or matt residue may appear. It comes from processing aids used during manufacture of the EPDM PONDLINER. It is not damage to the material and does not affect the EPDM PONDLINER’s tightness, strength or durability.
