However, if your barrel lacks a pre-existing thread, the connector can still be installed by creating a hole in the desired location. 

Once installed, the connector extends outward by 50mm, providing ample space for attaching hoses or filling containers. This extension allows for easier access to the water stored in your barrel, enhancing the overall usability of your rainwater harvesting system.
